The Baltic Coast mobile app is a custom mobile solution designed to optimize warehouse and operational workflows for a door retail company. We developed a smartphone-based barcode scanning application that helps employees quickly identify products, verify related documents, and work more efficiently with internal inventory and order management processes.

The application allows users to scan a barcode to instantly find a product, check which orders and delivery documents it is linked to, and open the full details of the related order. The system supports two different order types: customer orders and supplier orders. For customer orders, the app is used to identify products and quickly access the corresponding order, which is especially useful during picking, verification, and shipment processes. For supplier orders, a separate workflow was implemented: employees can not only find related items, but also add barcodes to those orders directly through scanning, simplifying material receiving and internal inventory operations. This editing scenario is intentionally limited to supplier orders only, in line with the company’s business logic.

The application also includes functionality for creating and viewing delivery documents. A key part of the project was integration with 1C: product data and barcodes are imported from the ERP/accounting system, while newly created delivery documents and barcode updates are sent back to 1C. As a result, the client received a specialized mobile tool that speeds up daily operations, reduces manual work, and improves the accuracy and transparency of inventory and order processing.
